- Emmett earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences (major: anthropology; minors: sociology and psychology) at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) in May 2004 and a Master of Arts degree in anthropology at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) in June 2005. Emmett is currently a Third-Year Volunteer for the United States Peace Corps. His first tour of service began January 2009 and ended April 2011. Emmett is the PCVL (Peace Corps Volunteer Leader) for Peace Corps Rwanda. He is currently stationed in Kamembe, Rwanda. He will finish his second tour of service in May 2012.
